Delivery

 

We use a combination of Royal Mail and third party courier services to get items to our customers as quickly and cost effectively as possible.


Delivery rates are calculated based on the total weight of an order, the delivery service level selected and also by the delivery address.


Orders required for Express service/next working day delivery must be received by Talking Balloons before 1200 hrs on the proceeding working day.


Delivery for helium rental cylinders (including packs), personalised banners and specialty/printed balloons is not always available for Express/next day delivery due to manufacturing lead times.  In instances such as this, please allow 7 working days for Express service, or up to 10 working days for Economy.


Helium rental and disposable cylinders can be despatched to mainland UK addresses only, and are not included in any promotional offers - including "free delivery".


No deliveries can be made on Bank Holidays.


If we spot any potential issues with a delivery, we endeavour to contact the relevant customer by the close of the next working day.

Spend over £60 online (excluding Print Your Own, helium rental or delivery charges) and standard delivery is FREE to mainland UK addresses.


Deliveries for helium rental cylinders (including packs) and personalised banners are not available for Express/next day delivery.  Depending on the products chosen, the weight of the products and the delivery service level may, out of necessity, be altered by Talking Balloons.  Personalised banners may take up to 7 working days if the Express service is chosen, or up to 10 working days for Economy.  Helium rental and disposable cylinders can be despatched to mainland UK addresses only.


All helium rental cylinders and packs should be ordered for delivery to the location at which helium inflation will take place.  2 working days need to be allowed to account for any delays with 3rd parties.  Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in a delay to your order, or to your helium being delivered after the required date.  If this occurs, Talking Balloons accept no responsibility and offer no refund.


Each BOC cylinder is labelled with a barcode on the collar.  This barcode is scanned upon delivery and collection, and then logged on your account. It is essential that the same cylinder is returned to BOC.  Failure to do this will result in the cylinder/s and filling kit/s remaining on your account and rental charges will made until the initial cylinder is returned.


Helium rental cylinders can only be delivered to mainland UK Business addresses. If a residential address is given, we cannot guarantee the delivery of the helium cylinders & inflators.  Please ensure the address to which rented helium cylinders will be delivered is located either on a main road or at a location with sufficiently wide access to enable a large delivery vehicle to get through.  Where possible, we will attempt to book your order in but no guarantees can be made.




We guarantee all orders will be received within 30 days.  If Talking Balloons cannot deliver within 30 days, the relevant customer will be contacted in order to arrange another time for delivery or to cancel the order.


Please note that Express, Speedy, Economy & Global services are not guaranteed by our 3rd party courier services.  We endevour to deliver all orders within the specified times, but no guarantees can be made.


We strive to deliver everything to the correct address within the working days specified in the service level requested, however, we cannot be held responsible if any customer provides incorrect/incomplete information pertaining to delivery.  If items are delayed or lost due to incorrect information being, we are unable to offer any refund.  Please ensure you supply full, accurate and complete delivery details - including postcode.


If an incorrect country or location is selected for the delivery address, the corresponding order will not be processed or despatched until any additional payment required has been made.  In the event that an incorrect country or location is selected for the delivery address, and there has been an overcharge, we will make every attempt to rectify the situation by making direct contact with our customers.


Deliveries are no longer the responsibility of Talking Balloons once delivery has been made to the address given to us by our customer.  If the items are accepted or signed for by someone other than the intended recipient, and the items ordered are not passed on, we cannot take any responsibility for this or offer any refund.


Most of our delivery services require a signature on receipt. A tracking reference is supplied on despatch of the order and it is yours, Talking Balloons customers responsibility, to track the shipment. If a delivery is attempted but not successful (e.g. the recipient is not present to sign for the items) a re-delivery may be attempted either the same day or the next available working day where possible or a calling card should be left, either way, it is Talking Balloons customers responsibility to communicate with the courier or Royal Mail to arrange a re-delivery or collection at the local depot/ sorting office.  No credits or refunds will be offered so please ensure someone is available at the given address to sign for the items.
